"My opinion and four bucks will get you a cup of Starbucks!!"

Its exactly your additude that 4 dollars for a cup of frigging coffee being no problem that summarizes what bothers some of us a bit.

We may just feel like venting a little about the changes to the status quo. It doesnt mean we're not going to be online cunsuming these releases. I was ahead of the curve and have already donloaded alot of these choice morsels that you are salivationg about. I have a 10 disk set of Fillmore 3/69 that I burned and play constantly.

Why dont you try taking a ride over to Dunkin Donuts and get a good cup of coffe for a buck and a half and not some yuppified Bong water your paying 4 dollars for in your "venti" cup
: ) just busting your chops : )

Never said that. It's just an expression.
Obviously the band doesn't want it to be free anymore. At least not every single show. Would you want to be held to every off-hand comment you made your whole life? If you respect their wishes then, you should respect their wishes now. (Besides, the mulit-track recordings were never intended to be "free" for anybody.)

Sorry Diana....just trying to defend you guys and the position you're in as well as the band we all love. I don't understand where the sense of entitlement some people have comes from.
Live Music Archive ROCKS and thank you Grateful Dead for allowing their shows to be included. Nobody is obligated to provide any of this to anybody. And that's not opinion, it's fact.
